Doctrinal Statement

What we believe

  1. We believe the Bible to be the fully inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling and filling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  6. We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgment of all people: Believers are resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God and unbelievers are resurrected to eternal suffering apart from God.
  7. We believe all who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God are members of Christ’s invisible and universal church. We also believe that the local expressions of the universal body of Christ are essential in the plan and purpose of God.
  8. We believe the primary responsibility of all who are saved is to work toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission. All worldly and personal ambitions should be subordinated to that supreme command of making disciples. We believe that human betterment and social justice are essential products of the Gospel.
